March 6, 2019 One Year AnniversaryI’m happy to say that I’ve pretty much been able to forget about my hip! I had my left hip resurfaced by Dr. Brooks of the Cleveland Clinic 2/26/18. Last week was my one year follow up. X-Rays looked great, everything was where it was supposed to be…so I’ve been released to full activity. I can’t be happier with the results of the surgery. I had my BHR at the age of 15 due to perthes disease. It has been absolutely fantastic since I have had it. Mr Treacy was my surgeon. I think this year will be a milestone, I will have lived longer with a BHR in my right hip than a normal one!

Posted in Facebook on 2/5/2019 The McMinn Centre Professor McMinn was interviewed in The Times today regarding Sir Andy Murray’s Birmingham Hip Resurfacing. His considered opinion – Murray is in with a good chance of competing in Wimbledon this year.
